I was just surfing the web when I saw the website. I thought I'd see who still teaches at Towson. I was a history major (class 98) ended up getting a MA in history later on. Towson didn't have a graduate program for history but she prepared me for it better than most. It was not an easy course. God help you if she still requires Baylin.

I took both of her American Revolution courses 12 years ago. They were extremely challenging, but what I learned changed the way I view the period completely. Her teaching is still an asset in my career today. She really is brilliant. I received an A in both classes but must confess I'm a History major and absolutely live and breathe the stuff.

Revolutionary History - An incredible mind. She knows everything these is to know on her subject and will help you if you want it. If you are looking for an easy class - DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! If you are looking to learn alot and work very hard, then go for it! My GPA went down with the B's I got, but they were worth it in the long run.

I graduated January 2005 with a 3.5 average. I am not a stupid person, but she made me feel as if I were. She gave me my only C in college.Her tests and quizzes were insanely hard, and she doesn't clarify anything. The only reason she is still there is because she is tenured and they can't get rid of her. My suggestion is to look at your grades. If you have an A average you will get a C in her class. If you have a B average you'll get a D. So unless you want to mess us your average, don't take her.

Ridiculous Class!!! She gave back our first exams at the end of class the day before spring break and people were literally in tears. She is not understanding towards student needs, doesn't want people to do well in her class, and makes it impossible to do so. I beg you not to take this class.

I read the comments on here before taking her class, and was like "oh she can't be that bad." SHE IS AWFUL!I had a solid B going into the final, studied my butt off for the final and ended up with a C-.You really only have 3 tests plus a final to make your final grade. She was 10 minutes late to class every single day and was a disorganized mess.

OK do not take this teacher. DONT!!! I haven't gotten a C in any class since MIDDLE SCHOOL, and this woman gave me a C. The only grades you get are 3 or 4 tests, so if you do poorly, you are screwed. I didnt miss a single lecture and barely squeaked out Bs on the tests, and bombed the final. EW.
