I really enjoyed this class. I found it to be very interesting and fun. He kept the whole class interested and was funny! Test can be hard if you don't show up or listen. He offers extra credit because he wants all his students to do well!

Comment:

It's key to take notes because the textbooks don't cover the material fully. The tests are pretty tough, all essay based, and there's plenty of material you'll have to remember. Term paper was difficult, he only allowed us to use the textbook as reference, and it didn't cover the lessons well. He was pretty condescending for a Psych Prof.

Really nice professor. His lectures are strictly just words no use of the board whatsoever. I really liked him. His tests were OK to say the least and they were multiple choice. Read the books and you will do fine.

Like taking a class with Jack Black as your professor. Anyone who doesn't enjoy this man's humorous approach to education is insane. Will take more classes with this professor. Highly recommend.

requires you to listen to the lectures but if you take good notes the tests are word for word from your notes. If you fail a test bring it to his attention and he will give u extra credit ot a redo on your test his was also very funny and made class fly by! i highly recommend taking his class!

Like jumping out of an airplane and landing on the head of a pin to succeed in his dinky class. You never know where he is at and what he expects on an exam. Arbitrary grading style. Classes need more structure and clarity. Hard to follow

Overall A Awesome class. You have to read the book which some people dont understand. In order for you to understand the concepts of the discussions in class you have to read the book!! (some people hate doing work) The movies are very informative and provide a unique outlook at a variety of situations. Fyi guy to girl ratio is like 2:11

I have had a couple of classes with him, and he still stands as my favorite teacher. I am a science major, but i have enjoyed his classes more than anyone elses. If you pay attention he really appreciates it. He's not stupid. Even if he acts cool , he knows who is and isn't doing the work or paying attention, believe me. Awesome Teacher!!!!

My favorite professor at Dowling! He is extrelmely funny; he does not take attendance, but I did not miss a class. Two exams in class, but he gives you a study guide, and he goes over it before the exam. Also, an 8 page paper, but easy to write. An 8.30 class, but most of his students were always there, because of his unique style of teaching :)

Hes great. He does give notes,although on a college level. He lectures, you write! Its not spoon fed, although he gives out a review sheet of exactly whats on the test, and usually tells u every answer the class before! He's hilarious, has no filter and is a great professor!! You dont have to go to class but I only missed 2 because he rocks!!!

Me and my friend used to call him Jack Black because he is so funny and kinda sounds like him too! He is really great. Makes the whole semester one laugh session. Definitely cannot fall asleep in this class because it's hilarious and wayyyyy interesting. LOVED IT! He's great!
