Nice teacher, uses the textbook every time. She'll help you and will allow you to turn in your late work if you give her your excuse. I ended up getting a C but she is easy, I just didnt turn every thing in. Her finals and midterms are easy, half of it is you own vocab words, study for about an hour or two and you'll be fine. A couple of 1-2 pagers

I loved this class. Attendance is mandatory but i didnt mind going. Essays were fun to write and she is very clear what she wants in them. You recieve plenty of time to do them and have many revisions. This class is not a hard class to pass as long as you work hard. I was a decent writer in high school but this class really helped me develop!

Mrs. Yelsik was the best teacher i had my freshman year! Her essays were not that hard but be careful of the last essay. She grades hard but that's what makes her a great teacher we didn't really do a midterm and her final is just a writing assignment in class! EASY if u can take her do it!

It's too bad that she is retired. She has a good track record of teaching excellence and it definitely showed in her approach here, even though I didn't care much for the class. SVSU has lost one of it's greatest professors.
