Laurence is probably the best professor I've had at York University. He genuinely cares for you and your education. Consistently interacts with students outside of class. His e-mails are LONG. Because he cares so much, he has a lot to say to better yourself in his classes.

Some of the classes felt like they were a waste of time. He is a tough marker, and his feedback didn't really help in terms of improving my material. However, he does seem to care and shows a clear understanding of the course's content.

Laurence Green is an amazing prof, he genuinely cares about his students and wants to see them all succeed. When making your final film the most important thing to him is that YOU are ultimitely satisfied with your end result and have learnt from your mistakes. That bejng said he is a fair stern marker, and will not go easy on you.

Laurence was the most honest, helpful, and dedicated professor. He clearly cares about his students and loves what he does, and as such he is always there to lend a hand when they need it. His very fun, casual style made the class relaxed, and you will learn far more than it feels like you are.

Laurence is somebody I want to have as a friend rather than as a professor. He's a great talker with interesting stories, but they rarely have a relation to the course material. He can also be overbearing with suggestions and critiques, sometimes it feels like you're making his film and not yours. Great guy, a little rough in his teaching methods.

I don't think I've despised a teacher more. He clearly lacks faith in his students which just boasts his incredible arrogance. It's not that he doesn't know his stuff - it's more that he's disrespectful and egotisical which discourages everyone from reaching their full potential.

You can swear at him and he won't get upset, which i really dig in profs. Although he won't turn you into the next Ron Howard, he treats his students with respect and even competes with them which is much cooler than grandpa screaming at you from his throne. Kudo's.

it's as if he is threatened by his students. He makes very childish attempts to let his students know that he is better than them and will do anything in his power to retain that control. If someone goes against the grain he will simply make their year miserable and try his hardest to make them leave the program.
