Dr. Harris is an amazing professor. He presented challenging but interesting lectures and fostered a collaborative and fun environment with all the students in class. He provided valuable feedback on our work/presentations! It was the best graduate course (Perception and Action) that I have taken even as a biology student .

Prof. Harris holds my highest respect as my professor. He teaches the material so well through clear explanations and demonstrations that no textbook is required. Tests are hard because need a working knowledge of class concepts to solve problems, but it wasn't needlessly challenging like memorizing facts in a testbank course.

Literreray the BEST prof I've ever had! He based his tests fully on lectures no textbook, which is actually amazing because he actually TEACHES you instead of brushing you off and telling you to go study on your own. You will never regret taking his course. Even a year later I still remember everything he taught in his course! Best best best!!!

Pros: - Great lectures that are very fascinating - Uses lots of examples to show concepts studied in perception - Very passionate about subject Cons: - Tests are finicky, as they can be more about confusing you than checking your understanding - Tests are very difficult overall

Professor Harris is a kind man who is really enthusiastic about sensation and perception. This class isn't easy an easy A will take more effort than a stereotypical 3 credit PSYC course. Everything you need to do well is NOT in the PPT but IS in the free course kit that he provides online. Current TA doesn't seem to understand the subject.

Do not be fooled by his "this class is an easy A" comment. It's not. lectures are great, don't get me wrong. But he is not available to office hours, he doesn't answer emails and the TA knows absolutely nothing about this course. His lecture slides are just pictures. If you miss a class, or don't understand something, you're in a pickle.

Really fun graduate class. He gave really good feedback in the form of an email after your presentation. Usually profs never do that! And the final essay due date is quite flexible, which I appreciate. "Action and Perception" was a good class overall!

Really nice prof. Course material was pretty interesting- lots of neuro and somatosensory- I way preferred it to the content in S&P I. MC was a bit tricky but you can make up the marks in SA. No textbook req'd, so detailed lecture notes were needed!

Loved his sense of humour. Great lecturer! He explains things very clearly. Textbook isn't really required. Lectures were posted with audio + video, but you should still go to class if you don't have previous experience with the material.

Absolutely loved Psyc 3270! It's one of the few psych courses where you do not have the read the textbook to get an A+. Just take very good notes during lectures, memorize them well and you'll do great. The prof is very caring and the exams are all fair (there are no assignments or essays). I highly recommend the course!

Enthusiastic, engaging, and kind. A wonderful teacher. Great demonstrations. I highly recommend his class. 30/30/40% exams, your best mark will count for the 40%. MC is very tricky but SA is easy enough. Everything on the exams are from lecture or his course notes. Buying the textbook is not necessary, it is only a helpful resource. Take his class!

Cool guy, clear, british! Lectures recorded (slides + audio) and put on Moodle, so attendance not mandatory at all, though he does write on the board sometimes so it's advisable. Textbook same as 2220, with the chapters not covered used, plus some extra material. Not much of the book is actually used but it's fine if you already have it from 2220
