Comment:

Take her class if you can! Wendy makes learning Java seem very easy. Assignments are challenging and the in-class lectures contain exercises which will really help hone your skills. DO THEM ALL. Practice makes perfect. Her lectures are very well done and she will give you more than enough resources and help to become the best Java programmer.

It feels like a humanities course with this professor, as you just constantly regurgitate information. She goes way too fast, acting as if Javascript was already second nature to us (were first year students). Asked for help or even a guiding point on an assignment, she tells us to "get a tutor". Embarrassment of a teacher.

I wish I asked around about this teacher before I took her, Terrible Terrible teacher. if you can avoid then please do. Ask around other students that had her for Java 1, Java 2 or wed dev, They will all tell u to find another teacher ASAP (all 3rd & 4th semester students say the same thing) bad lectures & her assignments are tedious.

Funny, nice, joking teacher. Tends to wander into stories a bit too often, but otherwise knows her stuff and doesn't take things too seriously, while still knowing the content well.

She is the perfect example of a petty teacher. It's more important to follow her rules then to learn anything. A web technology program and she dosen't allow you to use dreamweaver (even though it says they use dreamweaver on the sheridan website). Fine at coding, but loses the big picture of why you are programming, google is a better teacher
