This was the best class I ever took at UNC. Sanna is clear, fair, and caring. Unfortunately, I could never take any other classes with him because they close out fast! Register early.

Comment:

Take Sanna for Introductory Social. He is the best at UNC. I took his class 3 years ago and haven't had a better one since. He's funny, knows his stuff, and grades fairly. My friends have taken other Social courses, but hardly learned anything because they were taught by instructors who knew almost nothing by comparison.

I took this class a few years ago and remember that on course evaluations I was one of the best class I had at UNC. I was a freshman and didn't actually know because I had at least 3-4 years left. Now, I say definitely yes! Dr. Sanna's class is the best by far. I am a nursing major, so the course isn't even in my area. Take it.

I became a psychology major because of this class. Dr. Sanna is the best professor that I've ever had, the class is really interesting, and the content is useful. One suggestion is to pay attention to Sanna, and less so to the book, because about 80% of tests come from lectures.

This is a great class, but it's not easy. Sanna is a kind, caring, person. He certainly doesn't baby students. You need to participate in class discussions (thus be there), and read the material. Exams are fair and balanced. I did great, but if you want to sit back and relax it's not the class.

I was a business major but I'm switching to psychology after taking Sanna's class. Not too many things enthrall me, but this class did. Decision-making comes alive! There are a lot of different requirements, like Discussion/Debate days, which allow you to do well in the class as long as you make a serious effort. All around great teacher.

Dr. Sanna does a great job in a large class where it is difficult to get to know students. He is very knowledgable, treats students fairly, and is very kind. The tests are straightforward (even easy) if you've studied the materials. Lecture notes are very important.

Professor Sanna was great. He's a funny guy. Class can sometimes be a little boring, but his tests are pretty easy (always a gift question), the material is interesting, we watched some entertaining videos, and the material is really common-sense based, if you learn the names of some theories. All in all, great class and Sanna rocks.

This class was great! Subject matter is common sense and he doesn't pretend it isn't. Tests were really easy, always had at least 1 gift question. got easy As on every test. No other assignments.
