The worst teacher I have ever had. Take any other prof for the class you need, trust me. He is rude, pompous, arrogant, annoying, and unclear. If you want to have an enjoyable/interesting semester, avoid this teacher at all costs! He's also a major creeper on the females, it's seriously disgusting. Kwantlen should ban this guy from teaching.

This guy is a southern hick. If you didn't smirk or laugh within the first 10 minutes of any of his lectures he is sick or having a bad day. Overall, he is entertaining but not helpful. This guy singles people out ahah I loved it I would always put him in his place and we'd have great jokes going back and forth. Gave me the worst research assignmen

when u get to class, he will talk about the news then put on a movie. when the tests come, they are straight out of the book. he does not go over anything that will be on the test in class time. his class consists of watching marketing movies that have no relevance to whats going to be on the test. do not take leroi if you want to learn!

Le Roi is great and makes class entertaining. Yes he doesn't cover a lot of the course material in class, so you will have to spend your own time reading the text book. Both quizes and midterm are straight out of the book. No final. I would take him again for sure. He has his opinions and will single people out but its all in good fun.

He's a fun prof. He has his own opinions and way of doing things. It's an easy class - you just need to read the textbook. He basically says class time is to give a real world perspective. You either get him or you don't - but I like him. He's a bit of a smart-mouth but that's what makes him fun, unless you don't like being picked on.

Le Roi Smith is, by far, the worst teacher at Kwantlen. He is offensive and arrogant. His jokes are pointless and unfunny. Do not waste your time and your money in his class. You will learn nothing and are better off just reading the book by yourself. If you want to enjoy your time in school, don't take his class.

Yes, he is very much by the textbook for all his tests/quizzes/exams, however if you remember all the textbook examples then you can apply them to the testing. He is very fair while marketing assignments and projects, but hand them in at the start of class ALWAYS. Grammar is not a necessity, but helps for understanding.

Class description: He's "ill" 3-4 days, even the last class. Of the few days there is even a class, first 30 minutes talk about whats in the news, then watch a movie. Its a 3 hour class but 50% of the class leaves in 1 hour. I learned NOTHING from this class. Complete waste of time. Thinking of complaining to the school.

I do like his teaching style, a variety in class. I found his mid-term unfair, class average was 73%. I also did not like how had particpation worth 10% of our mark. He also mentioned that nobody gets an "A" in participation. I got 65% and was quite involved in class, the person beside me didn't say one word the entire semester and got 63%.

Le Roi is the best teacher I ever had. If you just do what he says, and be in class on time he will love you. Yes he is strict, but he is only trying to teach you some discipline because that is what the "real" world is like and he wants you to be prepared. He is the best teacher I ever had and I learned alot.

Dont ask him questions about things he has already talked about. He is a smart American (they are hard to find) with his smart remarks he make Canadians sound stupid. His exam is tough, 1 person passed. I heard this year he cancelled 5 classes on top of the scheduled canceled classes.

Make sure to listen to his instructions on assignments. He doesnt like to repeat himself and if you ask for clarification he most likely yell and criticize you. 10% is on participation but make sure you can support your ideas because him being open minded is out of the question. Quizzes/Exams are multiple choice straight from the book. Memorize it!
