Leah is an amazing professor, I took Logic with her, the class is very hard. You MUST go to class to pass this course. She's a funny light hearted teacher who truly loves her job. Go to her office hours!

Don't take unless you absolutely need to / don't care about your GPA. I'm a finance /accounting major and thought that this would be an interesting class. It was actually very boring and very difficult/time consuming. I tried my hardest to master the material in the class book (which is published by her) that you are forced to buy, and still gotaB-

I took Critical Thinking with Leah, and absolutely loved her. She was funny in class, kept it interesting, and made sure everyone is involved. She is willing to answer questions, but is a tough grader. I would recommend any course taught by her.

I did not learn anything during this course. Going to class made me more confused than it did help. Also the book was no help because the professor wrote it. I would not take this course, or another taught by this professor again.

Savion is a tough grader, because the field of logic requires precise language. Quizzes will be weighted toward definitions, which will need to be spot on. She cares and she teaches well (her accent is perfectly comprehensible). If you want your hand held, don't take this class and don't go to college.

Terrible teacher who barely speaks english and can't teach. She uses the book she "wrote" as the necessary text in the class and it's probably the worst book I've seen in my life. Doesn't know how to teach and tries to compensate her lack of teaching by telling jokes. Terrible teacher. Don't take this class.

Overall this is a challenging course that does pack a lot of fun with work. I have found that what I learned in this course has helped me immensely in my other courses. It will be challenging but if you put in at least 2 hours a week you can easily pass with an A or B. Recommended for people looking for different course or a look at a new subject.

Although this class is called Elementary Logic, it certainly is not easy. One of the hardest gen eds you can take, actually. I'm a math guy, so I found the material fascinating. Savion is great at explaining things if you can understand her accent. Tests are no joke, though.

The book sucks! the only reason we used it is because she wrote it. other than that the class was ok. I use the information in other classes that I learned in "Thinking and Reasoning"

She elected to change the hours during which the class took place after the withdrawal deadline, leaving me with a W. Furthermore, she insists that the definitions on quizzes be written out word-for-word from the book because, to her, the book is "perfected"...and also written by her. Lastly, she's difficult to understand. I recommend avoiding.

Yes, she does have an accent & can be sporadic in her teachings, but overall I enjoyed having her as a teacher. She's very funny & her class is easy as long as you pay attention in class and study what she tells you to do.

This lady has a very thick accent that is sometimes hard to understand, and to make it even worse the required book is a book she wrote. She is often misleading and doesn't always have the best attitude. She randomly picks on students to answer questions which drastically reduces my desire to attend class.

Absolutely atrocious. I made an account to just complain about this professor, that's how bad she was. Her accent is thick and prohibits clear understanding of the material. Her book is just as bad. Her assignments aren't explained well and she doesn't respond to emails you send her. Tests are all essay, which is difficult when you can't understand

Very thick accent, accompanied by sporadic logic. Uses her own book which is just as bad as she is. Couldn't follow along or even understand her, switch professors if possible p-105 with her is impossible.

Professor Savion was pretty easy at times, this being an intro to logic course. I had an interest in logic prior to entering the course, if that says anything. She is very funny and very understand of student problems, doing what she can to help clarify information. I would definitely recommend her and I look forward to taking P-250 with her.

By far the gentlest P250 class is taught by Savion. She is absolutely brilliant (at logic), nice, and will try as best she can to help you through objectively difficult material. Go to class and make sure you have a decent AI. Note that exact wording is required on the quizzes for definitions or you will fail them. Don't expect hand-holding.
