Terrible! As interesting (though biased)his info. is, his teaching skills are not to par. Our class average is a 56! I'm making a 60, and I've NEVER failed a class! Though he complains about the textbook, you're forced to read it, then take a quiz based on it. In the NEXT CLASS he'll give us the lecture on the previously tested info.

This man is awesome. He does come off a bit harsh on the first day but as long as you follow the rules and act like a decent human being you will be just fine. The quizzes are easy if you read the chapter. Overall he is a nice man. Don't take his class if you are someone who doesn't know how to follow the rules.

I took Brown for Govt 2305 Fall 2010, my roommate also took him, neither of us liked him. We had 3 essays, none of which were explained well, and we actually went over stuff that was on the quizzes after the quiz instead of before, I would not take him again

He may seem mean at first, but if you pay attention, take notes, study, and be a courteous student, he will be a breeze. You don't HAVE to read the book that much (but you should) and he's the greatest guy you'll ever meet. Even if your politcal opinions clash, he's great.

He's a jerk, and self centered, but his final was the easiest final I've taken. consist of 5 quizzes-10 q's ea; and a final study guide (vaguely descriptive). That's it. multiple choice. doesn't rearrange the choices-they appear on the tests/final the way they appear on the test.

This man is the most annoying teacher I've had. He is a smart a** about everything and if you ask a question, or happen to make a mistake, he makes an example of you to the class, i.e. if you are 2 mins late, he will lecture for 5 on how disrespectful it is...even if it is snowing and you live over an hour away. everything but the test was hard.
