Are you good at memorizing entire chapters word for word? Like the type of professor that loves to fail people. Then Edwards is your lady!!!! Sarcasm is abundant and she's got RBF. Sweet lady, but she thinks she's doing you a favor by sticking it to you. Bad professor she expects you to know every detail and only teaches peanuts.... YES PEANUTS...

This professor is blatantly using her course to "teach students a lesson" about how hard college classes are. Her lectures are scattered and confusing. Several times she gave tests that were "based on the study guide" but contained no actual study guide material. She is condescending towards students in class when asked questions.

If you LOVE knowing the chapter down to the punctuation take Edwards. She often pulls questions for her tests that are from a chapter that isn't supposed to be on the test. Oh yeah and she doesn't teach. Expects you to learn outside of class and ask questions in class.. Why? I'm not paying you for that Im paying for you to teach. So teach Edwards!!

Lets be realistic. College level Biology is going to be hard. This class was difficult with a lot of homework and studying. Edwards holds you to a high standard but does everything she can to help you do well. Edwards is nice. Some students dropped the class early on but the ones who stayed and showed interest and good effort were able to succeed.

Dr. Edwards is a really great person however her class is difficult and confusing. If you aren't up for endless nights studying, quizzes every lab and every other lecture, and being attached to your textbook I would not recommend this class.

"SIGH" (then stares at your soul...) This is the result you will receive when you ask a question in class. She does not know much other than the material"SIGH" Yea she will do that in mid lecture/sentence multiples time every class. Every "SIGH" reinforces my idea that she had an epiphany and realized she's in the wrong profession. Still made an A.

She obviously does not enjoy teaching. She sighs and gets frustrated EVERY TIME you ask a question! She doesn't let you see your graded tests unless you make an appointment and go see her in her office (which i wouldn't mind if she didn't have such limited office hours). She refuses to answer any kind of homework or project questions. Avoid!!!!!!

I took the hybrid course with Dr. Edwards. Dr. Edwards is an excellent teacher! The material in this class is really difficult, so be prepared to study constantly. She does not give study guides for lecture tests or final, so it is hard to know where to focus. Overall great experience! I would take a class from her again.

I thought Dr. Edwards was a great professor and I hate biology. Yes, you should read the textbook, but it's college so you should be doing this anyways. Come to class because she used the same phrases while teaching as she does on tests! :)

Her class is hard if you don't study everyday. Read the chapter before class so you can understand the material when she discusses it. If you really want to learn what the class has to offer, you could probably do better, but not by much. The biggest problem I could say about her class is that her study guides are pretty much bibles on the subject; her tests don't even cover all of the material. Her biggest focus was on botanical aspects of the course.

This woman is terrible. I am a Biology major and she has made this class difficult even for me. You had better come to every class, and take good notes. Go home and read your textbook like it's the Bible. She teachers like it is. Don't ask questions or you will be glared at and told to "Google it"!! Change teachers if you get her! Save yourself!

She is. Unexplainable. Everytime she get's asked questions by me or my other classmates she stares at us like we're crazy and then gives the most sarcastic thing she can probably come up with. When she reviews the tests she always acts like we're all supposed to make 100s and have no questions on the material. Lab isn't that bad, lecture is horrid.

Dr Edwards is a really great professor! I made an A for the course. I definitely recommend taking her course. She is very helpful. If she can't answer your question she will get you in touch with someone who can. Her tests are like the study guides. EVERYTHING on the test comes from lecture or the study guide. Most people were too lazy to take advantage of them, or simply waited until the last minute. I found parts of the class boring, but what do you expect from the "life cycle of plants"? Lol

Now this is college people! she treats it like a college level course. she is an awesome teacher and very helpful. Lectures are crystal clear. read the book and go to class. she quizzes to make sure you study thru out lectures! very fair! what you put in is what you get out! I would def. take her again!
