Comment:

The only reason I gave this class a 2 for difficulty is because it's so incredibly difficult to understand him. I don't know if it's a speech impediment of if he's just old as dirt but everyone in the class just laughs awkwardly after every sentence in case it was a bad joke. Assignments and due dates are unclear, we are all so confused.

This is the most unorganized man I have ever met. He has no due dates yet marks off for things being late. His class has noting to do with what the description said. He believes he is smarter than everyone of his students and talks down to us like we are in elementary school. I wasted so much time and money on this class. I would never recommend.

This guy should not be able to teach, especially this FYS class, again. The class was pointless waste of my time. He makes barely any sense and believes that everyone that takes his class wants to be a chem major, even though almost no one in the class is not a chem major. Everytime he tells us that he wants to teach the class next year, i cringe.

Brilliant guy, but sometimes hard to understand. His thoughts move so quickly that they're hard to follow as a student, and he often goes off on long tangents--though maybe he wouldn't consider them that. If you come to class and participate, you'll be fine. With that said, it's an easy A.

Ugh...I do not particularly like this class. Dr. Liebman is a very sharp chemist, but he really should not be teaching this seminar on, nor should this seminar exist. It has too many ppl of too many different science/math ability levels. Although easy, I did not learn anything.

Because I took AP chem in high school, I can follow most of what he is trying to say. However, if I were new to chemistry, I would be lost. Assignments are easy, understanding class lectures is not. He underestimates his students. I skip fairly often.

I'm well into the semester, and I still can't tell if I've learned anything in his class. He speaks in tangents and uses too many examples which is, if anything, unnecessary (and may end up confusing you).
