She is very understanding. Lectures are interesting and you can tell she has a passion for what she teaches. Highly recommend to take courses with her. When she gives assignments back she gives helpful feedback to better your grade in future assignments with her.

Highly recommended. She is one of the best professors I had. Easy to get A. Just make sure you follow her instructions properly. Take notes regularly. Because most of the questions in the exams will be from her lectures. No pressure at all.

Leigh is an awesome prof! She gives interesting lectures and encourages student participation. She is one of the rare profs who is both a relatively easy marker and still improves your writing style and understanding of the subject matter. Interessting material. Chosen stories were always relevant and generally interesting. Lectures actually helped explain material. Very critical on citation and following style of MLA so dont mess that up. Tough marker on essays also

Leigh Matthews is a great prof. She is so helpful and kind. She is willing to give plenty of extra help with any assignment (even those from other classes). Leigh is a professor that everyone wish they had. She rewards creativity in writing, her before and after class assignments are worth a lot and are very easy as long as you dedicate the appropriate time to do them (which few people get done ahead of time), and the essays are assigned a month in advance which were only 2 at 900ish words. 2 Thumbs up
