Super tough class on top of a hard teacher. Sometimes homework covered things not talked about in class. Seemed like he didn't know what homework he assigned when he assigned it. Exams were too long and he provided no time beyond the 55 minutes in class to do them. Didn't feel like my grade reflected my knowledge of the subjects tested on.

Dr. Feuerhelm can be helpful sometimes if you ask him, but in labs, he always seem irritated and likes to get super snobby with you if you ask him a question he deems to be stupid. Tests are tough. Be prepared to teach yourself most everything and work the old exams he posts up online.

Dr. Feuerhelm was one of the best teachers I have ever had. I was hired after graduation as a chemist with 10,000 people applying for the same job for a company ranked 3 in the Fortune 500. He was always available to help those who put in the time and effort.

The first class I had him for was freshman science seminar I did bit like him the requirements for that class were ridiculous since twice a week freshman had to attend presentation they didn't understand and take notes. BUT if you take him for an actual class where he interacts like physics he's a great teacher with some pretty interesting stories.

Other than attending the student-led presentations, Sophomore Science Seminar is a frustrating experience. You'll see Dr. Feuerhelm, with his toothy smile, harangue the class for 50 minutes on how to dress for a job interview. Or, what it takes to get into medical school. Bring a nice book to class. The interview can be very helpful, however.
