She is nice and helpful. But somewhat unclear on what she wants to write about in your papers. A lot of reading. I didn't care much for the class, but I learned. Portfolio due at the end of the semester for a grade. There are three formal papers. She doesn't grade easily. Some group work. A lot of discussion.

She has ridiculous expectations in regard to impromptu essays. Our final required us to type 6 pages on 3 topics using a total of at least 9 sources from texts used in class with quotations from each w/o using the text. Also there were 8 novels and 4 compilations of poems/short stories required for this class. Other assignments carry no weight.

I agree. She is caring, hot, and one of the best profs. at Marshall in the English Department. Classes are not overly hard, but you do actually learn from them. Also, she is very organized unlike some of her peers.
