Avoid. Worst professor I've had so far. Has a temper problem and will spend most of the time ranting. Clearly knows his subject but cannot teach at all. If you don't grasp something immediately he will mock you during class. Can't write neatly. Is very picky and will take out points in tests even if you are correct.

personally, i loved him! gets lazy students so they don't work for good grades. if you do what he says and follow his examples exactly- you will get As in all his exams. gives a lot of extra points-youll be crazy if you don't take advantage of the extra points! such a nice professor if you're nice back. takes attendance in every class.

Professor Chosid is the best math teacher I had and he is passionate about his subject. Knows a lot of interesting concepts and theories. Engages students during the class and not boring. Very funny. He does not explain every little thing and this actually good because we have time for more interesting problems. If you like math definitely take

God help you if Chosid is your only option to take calculus. The man's obviously passionate about math but his ability to convey understanding of it is non existent. Ranting, unstructured lectures. If I didn't have a tutor and read the book myself, I would've definitely failed. He's a tough grader only because he marks correct answers wrong. Insane

Yells and screams at his students. If you don't understand the material, he will insult you and curse you out in front of the entire class. Has a short temper. Takes off points for ridiculous things, even if the test answer is correct. Assignments are very unclear, and you will be penalized if you misinterpret him.

One of the worst math professor ive had in city tech. He doesn't really teach, loves to talk about math theories that doesn't help with the assignments. During lecture we just go over HWs that people put on the board, then 10mins before the period ends, he teaches you something new and expects you to understand. Never really write on the board

OK! so yes, student are dumb and lazy, but that is not the problem, well at least here. Chosid is pretty much brilliant but he's either too old or just has either lost his passion. (he wont waste time with weak minds and will surely remind you if you do not belong there). TAKE ONLY IF YOU UNDERSTAND MATH AND GRAB CONCEPTS EASILY. GOOD LUCK.

The truth is Prof. Chosid is a good prof. The problem is that he teaches a bunch of lazy, useless students. Yes, he is a handful at times, but the issue starts and ends with the brainless students he have who complain about every little thing. Dr. Chosid is a decent professor that is known for calling out the stupidity of others. I am glad that I had him for this class because I learned a lot about both Calculus and life as well. He might be old and often seem senile, but make no mistake, the man really knows his stuff. Take him and you will REALLY learn.

Worst teacher, and very lazy he sits down most of the time and points a laser to the board, and when you ask for help he gets mad. To get a B+ in this class I was depending on the extra credit he was giving and I had to go to tutoring and study from the book. Useless old man.
