Very hard teacher, but if you stick with him and do the work/reading you have an unsurpassed foundation of accounting knowledge. I went VERY far in life after his class. He weeds out the weak students with the amount of work in the beginning and only the serious ones succeed. Anyone with negative things to say probably didn't put in the effort.

He's a really good professor. The tests are hard but if you actually work in this class you'll be able to get an easy B...For accounting majors this guy is a must. If you hate the yankees, you'll have to bite your tongue a bit...the whole semester i had to deal with that crap

THe BEST professor I have ever had in business school!!! Really knows his stuff, relates it to the current business practices, his powerpoint presentations are very clear and helpful, and his teaching style will always keep you alert. The BEST for CPAs!!

Dr. McMenimen was great! He posts previous tests on his website (which are almost the same as the test he will give you) and he gives you all the questions he uses in the tests as homework. I really learned a lot and enjoyed the class!
