Guy was tough but fair. Many people complaining were among those not ready to actually work for their grade. Put in the work, and you can get an excellent mark in King's class. He gives plenty of bonus marks on both labs and tests, but the tests require heavy studying.

This professor is by far the toughest professor in this school, he is so intense to the point where almost everyone failed which given a 32% average of the class grade. He sure isn't a professor & he acts like we are all some sort of freak in programming but no were just a beginner.

Comment:

He was the best professor in the IT department at Humber College. Why? Because he gave the most challenging assignments, marked tough and was one of the few professors who provided content that measured up to the reality of the work world. If you want the confidence to excel your career and make big $, listen to this guy. Thank you Leon King.

Awful jokes about sensitive topics followed by an hour and a half lecture about chart styles is a pretty good picture of a typical lecture. Also i hope you're ready to receive 0 feedback or any information about assignments. Honestly go with any other professor you'll be glad you did if you listen to him talk for 5 seconds.

If you are expecting to be spoon fed then you will not like him. If you are genuinely interested in learning, expect to put in hard work and you will receive a good mark. He is fair and honest. If you don't ask questions you will not get answers. Attend class, attempt labs at school and ask questions. Simple. Learned a lot. Thank you Mr. King.

Not nearly as bad as I expected. In fact, he's actually pretty great! Assignments are hard, but they force you to invest time in them and read the text. You actually LEARN in his class. One of the few professors I've had that I felt challenged me. Lectures are informative (not just slide readings), and the readings he recommends are fascinating.

Teach material in amounts that can be learned within a 2 hour time frame. Prepare your material before you come to class. When you?re confused with your lectures ? so are we. Shorter labs that cover material more effectively will enrich students learning experience.

Not a clear teacher. Java is an important course, and the professor should help. However, so far I've done all my Java labs with the help of tutorials found on google, rather than his teachings. I've had bad teachers, but this one is by far one of the worst.

He looks like he is going on a fishing trip. He basically comes into class talks super fast, then gives 3 year assignments which are due in 1 week. I believe he does a google search for a function if nothing returns, then he assigns that function and adds 15 options to use with that command.

Terrible teacher, cannot teach if his life depended on it. Horrible time management skills, he'll end up checking everyones work with 5 minutes left in class making you run after him for signatures. Forget about free time when taking this course, it'll take up all your time if you want a half-decent mark. Also don't get me started with that nervous
