Comment:

One of the best profs I had at LVC. I hated taking his classes, but realized the value his teachings gave me within the first week of my life in the "working world." Don't underestimate his practices or methods. They are all more valuable in the long run. Don't try to avoid him either. His teachings are still etched in my brain today.

He does teach a lot of important real life information. I am much better off after having taken this class.However, he does it in a very rude and condescending way.One of his favorate sayings is "This is what the business world is like. I'm just preparing you." That's great but if I had a boss that was as rude as he is, I would immediately quit.

Had this prof in the 1980s and he was very demanding back then (guessing he hasn't changed ... and won't) and by far the best teacher at LVC. All these years later, I'm still drawing on his stuff on how to write. Take him or you're not getting your tuition's worth.

Very demanding and very high standards, but very fair. He gets a bad rap, but that is not fair-he makes his expectations very clear. And really, they're easy to follow. If you screw up, he'll let you know. It's basic stuff that he expects-come to class on time, turn your stuff in on time, proofread. Great prof. Highly recommended. Learned a lot.

Quite possibly the best professor at LVC. Yes, his class was very demanding. If you didn't learn in his class, you probably shouldn't have been in college. I had him 20 years ago and would love to go back and thank him. I am guessing he could careless but, "Dr. M, Thanks for all your help!"

He is really demmanding and can, at times, be condescending. BE PREPARED FOR CLASS! I found him to be more personalbe one-on-one. His reputation makes him intimidating-don't be. Do your work, make an effort and you'll be fine. Though, I did study abroad in Holland in part to avoid BUS485.

You may not love him or his methods, but he is real. The real world is not a nice place. He is honest and will give you real skills that will help you succeed. Sometimes the truth hurts. If you take the time to listen, you will benefit from his lessons

Requires a min of 5 hours a week just in the classroom (including the 6:40-7:30 am BOOKCHECKS). Requires so much more from students than he puts forth (late and unprepared everyday). Generally, he's a JERK. (Hows that for some effective communication?
