Comment:
Assumes prior knowledge even with introductory students, which means her lessons are unclear. Feedback on papers extremely rude in tone and unhelpful because again, she assumes you already know what you are in the class to learn. Avoid at all costs.

This is a tough course. Dr. Rankin-Hill is one of those prof. where I would take her again and again, but I dont know why because I dont do that well in her courses. I think it is her amazing personality not to mention she is ALWAYS there for her students. Weekly quizzes are inconsistent about what they want and is very confusing.

She gave three tests including the final, and we only had 1 assignment and 1 lab. She was gone for a week on medical leave and Dr. Warren taught for her the most we ever learned. Her lectures are hard to follow. Wouldn't take her again but I have to for human osteology.

She really knows her stuff and is very helpful in labs. I had her for Osteology. There was a quiz every class and a lab afterward, it's very intensive but you will leave having learned a lot!

Great teacher, taught well. Have to study a bit for the test and reading is large but class is worth it.

She's a great teacher, though she's very tough with her material. Luckily, she's also liberal than normal with her grading! For what it's worth, I might not have taken this course if I had known about it before hand, but she made it all worthwhile.
