Nice person, good prof. Sometimes she gets her information wrong or mixed up, is not very good at answering questions. Provides research assignments for extra credit. exams are made of mostly application questions

Dr. Janes is a lovely prof, and an excellent fit to the diverse group of students that generally make up a Psych 1000 class. Her lectures were thorough but not too intensive and were interesting. Don't bother purchasing the textbook, as she focuses entirely on lecture content. Highly recommend!

I absolutely loved taking Psychology 1000 with Professor Janes. Professor Janes's lectures were very interesting. It wasn't difficult to be engaged with the material, and to do well (I earned an 84% in her class). Plus, she tests on lecture material, not on the textbook, so you don't need to read the textbook. She really is a kind professor.

such an easy and interesting course that i would recommend to anyone. not the most captivating professor, but willing to help others and genuinely cares about students. reading for this specific course is not necessary however other classes with her like 2720 it was helpful

Took Social Psych and ended up being the most interesting psych course I've taken. Lectures aren't the most exciting but i recommend going because she says examples that WILL be on the exam. Very nice lady and helpful

Dr Janes is clear and concise in all of her lectures, very eager answer your questions in several different ways if needed until you understand and answers all questions with sincerity regardless of how many times she has already gone over it. Material she does not go over in class will not be on tests and exams.

Jane is a nice, helpful professor. She is willing to help her students outside of class & wants the students to do well. She explains whats on the exam & the content of the class clearly. The only bad side is that she tends to be monotone so the lectures can get extremely boring to the point where you are literally about to sleep. Just bring coffee

This professor has passion and knowledge. She is encouraging to her students to do well in all aspects of their university lives. She has influenced me to complete a minor in psych. I cannot think of a better prof for an intro to psych course.

Professor Janes was my favourite professor by far! I had her for both intro psych 1000, and human sex. 2075, got 80+ for both. You do need to go to most classes though because she gives a lot of additional info on her lecture notes, but you don't need to read text, only when she tells you to.

I find the way lectures is very...babyish? is that the word? almost patranozing - although I can tell she doesn't mean to do it on purpose - I think its just her teaching style. If your the type that goes to class but don't like to read, she's good, atleast 85% of test is from lectures. She could brush up on making it interesting

i took this course online and did really well...you definitely need to do all the readings in the textbook and look at the online chapter notes she puts up. i didnt have her in class but as an online prof she is pretty good and will help you out greatly if you ask her a question during the exam!! overall the course is easy if you read and keep up.
