Comment:

Kurz is a good professor but can be very strict about how she wants things. She does take attendance and is very insistent on class participation once in a while. Quizzes aren't too hard and speeches are very easy to do as long as you choose a topic you like. She gives back detailed feedback and emails back in an appropriate amount of time.

Heres the thing about Linda... she seems really nice at first, and then you will turn in your assignments, give your speeches, and she will randomly take off points for no reason. I think I had only a few 100%s on my homework assignments and thats saying something because I've had a 4.0 GPA all throughout college.

Really easy class if you meet her expectations, read the syllabus, do your work, and contribute to class. She's clear about everything. Tests are kind of difficult - read the book and have a thorough understanding of details. She's a nice lady.

She is an amazing teacher. She states very plainly what she wants you to do and will often times give you exact examples of how she wants things done. As long as you follow that exactly (which is incredibly easy to do) and don't read straight from your paper you will get an A.

Dr.Kurz is the most amazing, wonderful, talented, kind-hearted teacher I have ever had. I would discourage you from thinking otherwise, seeing how she RUUULES the Communication Studies department. LOVE LOVE LOVE HER!

One of the worst teachers I have ever had. Very picky about everything. I emailed her about my grade (had about 88% at the end of the semester, got a freakin B) and she supposedly got offended as she did not reply to my emails and stopped saying hi to me in the halls. About time she retired.
