I had this class over 10 years ago, and I still remember what a great professor McManness was. She was extremely helpful, very funny and explained things very well. I would always go and talk to her in her office and get extra help, she was always very kind and willing to help. Would recommend.

Linguistics was a hard class but she's really nice and accomodating if you'll talk to her. and I had for a methods of foreign language teaching course that was demanding but fun. She's funny and fun to work with.

3309 was hard, but she is very fair and helpful and other classes she teaches are not as difficult. Takes an interest in students' lives outside the classroom as well. She's funny, honest, and engaging. Great professor!
