One of the best Accounting professors i have had at UA. She is clear in her teaching and is willing to help as much as she can. Pay attention on test review day she gives very helpful hints about what will be on the test especially the workout problems. Take her if you can!! 3 test and 1 project that she will help you with every step of the way.

Great Prof. Very down to earth and caring. Her tests are great and I enjoyed going to class. Her notes are a bit all over the place, but know the book and you'll be fine.

Very sweet woman. Makes corny jokes that kinda loosens up the atmosphere of the class. I wasnt fond of her notes, they seemed way out of whack and all over the place, and even tho im finished the course, i still have no idea what sociology is! She is very helpful, but class is boring. B+

She was a great prof, I had no wants to take this class at all, only did because I had to for engineering. But she got me very interested, it was better the more one took part, so be prepared to voice opinion and have fun. I got an A somehow, I can't write for beans, so she must test on knowledege and how you back yourself! That or she liked me :-)

Linda is a really sweet prof, always smiling and encouraging students. She is eager to convey the material to students, and it is obvious that she is passionate about what she teaches. Lots of group work, and sometimes it seems like busy-work. If you do the work, an A is not hard to come by. Recommended by me!

She's nice woman. Pretty leniant with the marking scheme as long as you do your part. You won't get an A easily but I recomend her

I really enjoyed this class. Linda isn't a hard marker, and the course material is relatively easy - not a hard course by any means. The course material was very interesting as well. Tests consist of multiple choice & short answer questions, which aren't too difficult. Also, you get to drop your lower midterm mark if you attend class regularly.

She's such a sweet woman, but has the tendency to be slightly boring at times. Good sense of humour though, very approachable, and she isn't a hard grader.

I actually adored this class. Her marking scheme was amazing. If you did most of the in class assignments (all in groups and insanely easy) then you got to drop your lower mid term mark. Excellent course and an excellent prof! Her choice of readings were really interesting and actually pretty interesting. Get in this class if you can!

Linda Parsons was my first Sociology prof, I went on to get a degree in the subject. It was a teleconference class and I have to say it was the most interesting of my first year courses. She was available to students even with the distance. Great prof!

very awkward demeanor, slightly boring, but decent grader and tests are ok. Common sense and a little reading and youll be fine.Dont go in expecting to be entertained by sociology like I was, regret not getting a different prof, had hopes of sharp discussion and in heightened ideas, no such luck.interesting stuff, just not taught well.choose another

A little boring, doesn't really explain her notes or ideas, just kind of puts them out there... overall not too bad, but could be better
