All you have to do is go to class, pay attention, and take notes. Her tests comes directly from her class lectures and homework which she always goes over. If you wait till the last minute to study you will not do good. Start studying oin advance considering there is also only 3 test per year. Don't take this class unless needed for major

I had Raths for BIO209 and she wasn't as bad as everyone thinks! She assigns easy homework which is on her exams so study it. You need to copy everything she writes and says because it's crucial for exams. When I had her, I didn't even study out of the textbook. Textbook was only used for her homework. I just used my notes to study and got an A-

DO NOT EVEN BOTHER TRYING TO ASK FOR HELP!! she reads out of the text book then the questions on her tests dont even make sense to what she taught in class, alot of homework that she never goes over then becomes essay questions on the tests, she cant teach, she expects everyone to know everything already, horrible teacher and person

Professor Raths is a very nice and sweet person. In class, you really have to take notes on everything she says not just from what she writes on the board because she gives more detail while she speaking. She needs her notes in front of her to teach otherwise she will be lost and confused. There's only 3 tests that weigh a lot on the grade.

She's very befuddled and kind of has no idea what she's talking about. She relies on packers that she hands out that make no sense and just have sentence fragments on them. She's a nice lady she just wasn't meant to teach. Her tests are difficult and go into way too much detail to the point where it's ridiculous. You have to teach yourself.

There are only three tests in the semester. Two are worth 22%, the final 26%, she has 5% for participation and the other 25% is for lab. She goes over material, but gives one word notes and cannot teach a lesson without her own paper in front of her. To get a good grade on a test requires days of studying from the text book, not her notes.

All you upcoming PA's and all other majors, just make sure u copy EVERYTHING she says... do not just copy what she puts on the board... i REPEAT, COPY EVERYTHING SHE SAYS. if u copy everything she says and then read the Textbook pages that correlate to her lesson... expect an A.. takes work, but it is definetly do-able

Raths gives two tests and a final, and they are not that difficult (if you pay attention and take amazing notes). I personally found the class interesting, challenging, and helpful. I had her for lab twice and 210 and would recommend her. She is great if you put in the effort the class deserves. You only need the textbook if you don't take notes.

Raths is incredibly sweet but she's also really befuddled & all over the place. She tries her hardest but her notes are unclear & she basically just writes random words on the board and rambles on for an hour. She gives a lot of packets but these aren't that helpful because they don't explain anything but instead just have random words & diagrams.

I have Raths for Bi209 lab and I would say she does a good jab as a lab professor. Lectures for a little before doing the exercises but everything is explained. She seems a little all over the place but is a sweet lady.

Personally, I think she is a very nice person. However, as a professor, she struggles to teach without her notes in front of her. Her tests really do require some time to study for. She slips in the smallest detail. Make sure you pay attention to what she says, as she writes on the board. Those are crucial to tests. NEED textbook to study!

Raths is an awesome professor. I loved her class. She is very helpful and her practicals aren't tricky at all. If you pay attention and know what you're doing, it will be an easy A.

I found her class to be extremly difficult. I had a B in the part1 Anatomy with another professor and I feel I'm doing much worse in hers. Her exams are impossible unless you know every detail of everything. She is a nice lady but she makes an already difficult course much more difficult.

Very scattered! I feel like she sometimes doesn't know what she's teaching. Sweet lady but horrible teacher. I am actually doing poorly in Anatomy 2 after getting an A in Anatomy 1 with another professor. Something is wrong! Her tests are incomprehensible and her notes are all over the place.

Dr Raths is amazing...she knows how to keep us interested and to get through the hard stuff. Her practicals arent that bad, and all you have to do is hand in all the lab work at the end of the semester. So sweet, helps anytime you need it.
