Just Learn all of the topics on your own. I went to 3 lectures maybe all year and have gotten above 80% on both of the mid terms. This course is a learn it on your own/youtube type course. She does not explain things well at all. She tries to explain the textbook but even the textbook is confusing and vague. She is really nice just not a good Prof.

Worst proff. ive had so far in my college and university career. Her lectures are horrible and the notes you take do not help towards assignments and midterm. I highly recommend you search up "Numerical Methods Guy" on youtube. After the midterm i (and many many others) never went to a class and just watched youtube videos.

I have a had a fair amount of bad professors, but Liping stands out as the worst by far. Her lectures are useless as she is incoherent and constantly makes mistakes in her scribbles. Read the textbook, study from old exams, and search the internet to learn the material. It is sad to think that she actually gets paid to do what she does.

By far the absolute worst professor I have ever had in my entire life. Uses slides to teach math, has a lot of trouble explaining simple concepts, and cannot manage time well at all. Absolutely useless during office hours. This prof is completely incompetent, and should not be teaching at a university. Never take a class taught by her.

She is one of the most useless profs I've ever had. I've never given a bad review before but she is absolutely the worst lakehead has to offer. She would be better off not speaking, at least then I could read what I was writing without that pick-axe voice of hers drilling a hole into my scull. The cheating that went on was unacceptable.

Terible teacher! Got an A+ but I just can't stand how she teaches. Overheads are practically photocopied from textbook. Easy class and recommend taking it. Learned everything on my own.

Easy marker, time-consuming assignments. Acts interested in getting to know her students. Lectures difficult to follow, but I find all math classes that way. Tricky final exam which covers everything but it has no surprises.

Regarding the last post: don't fill the bowl with so much crack ~ that shait's freakin you out; she's not all riiiight; I attended two lectures and got a B+; just blast the notes off a friend and go over the old finals; try class at least once; it's hillarious!
