Really great teacher! lots of little petty assignments that are easy and you can find them online but it just takes up time. lectures are good and pretty chill. have a lab project that sounds much harder than it actually is once you sit down and do it. IF YOU HAVE TO TAKE RELIGION TAKE IT WITH HOBBS!

Lora was such a great teacher! I had her for REL100 for my first semester and she made everything super easy to understand. Her lectures are great, always super interesting! It's very easy to get an A or B in her class, she explains everything very well. Tests are everything you learn in class, as long as you pay attention you'll do great!

Comment:

Prof Hobbs's class made me switch my minor to religion. She's a great lecturer and easy to digest content. There are lots of quizzes (good or bad for grades, depending on your willingness to read the textbook.) Show up to class, read the assigned readings and you'll have an A. She's clear about what she wants in assignments.

LOVED this class. First half of the semester, you learn about a religion over a week. Watch lectures online, read from the book, and answer study questions. Then on Thursday, you meet in class to discuss everything. Midterm is online, multiple choice and essay. 2nd half you work on a project where you interview someone. Final is a paper online.

I LOVED her online class. she stands infront of a camera & gives lectures so it's super involved. The class is so easy and it's based on your perception of what you learn from her lectures on religion. The quizzes come from the textbook (it helps) and ALL tests are on quizlet. weekly blogs and occasional papers/projects. super easy grader and fun

Miss Hobbs is awesome. She is very objective in this religion class and is respectful of everyone's opinions. The tests are pretty easy if you just pay attention in class, and she only assigns a couple of short papers. I definitely would recommend taking her for this class.

Lora Hobbs is an amazing professor who really cares about her students and their success. You can tell she loves what she does and is passionate about what she teaches. That makes her lectures and her class so much easier to be a part of. I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone.

Such a nice teacher. You will have to put in some work, but it's not very difficult if you do the readings. There are about 3 extra credit opportunities, 2 tests, multiple quizzes, a couple papers, and a final. I took the blended option so all the lectures were online, and in class we just had discussions. It was awesome!

Hobbs is not a bad teacher, but she makes you work for the grade you want. I took the online course so I had to watch 2-3 30 minute lecture videos every week. You'll do two projects (not very hard) and write a couple papers. For the most part, as long as you complete the assignment and answer the questions you should do fine. As far as tests, STUDY

The most genuine professor i have ever had. Hobbs cares about your grade, and if you do too, you will have an A. The topics she teaches are interesting, and she definitely knows what she is talking about. Would recommend to everyone!!!

I took this class as a blended course, so the lectures were online and the assignments were submitted in class. Her lectures ramble on and on. She is very sweet, and wants all of her students to succeed. The tests are very specific, but she gives study guides. There is a lot of work, but if you do it you will get an A.

I went through personal things while in her class and she worked with me until the end of the semester to get caught up! It was also very easy to catch up because the class is easy and enjoyable. 5 quizzes, 2 tests, if you stay caught up on the lectures its an easy A. Participation blogs, up to 10 points extra credit! Great teacher!!!

Dr. Hobbs is an amazing teacher! She really cares about her students and wants them to do well. Some of the classwork is what feels like busywork but it's almost impossible not to get full points if you try. The tests require minimal studying, but make sure you know the terms!

REL 100 online with Hobbs is a very good class. Her lectures are actually interesting and she knows how to present the material without making you fall asleep. There are a few papers in this class, but they really aren't very hard at all. This class is an easy A. Would take again.
