Comment:

Mr. Cagle was the best math teacher I've ever had. He was so funny and really made sure you understood the material. You could tell he really cared. I heard MSU is taking away his seated class though, which is such a shame because everyone should get the chance to have a teacher like him. Bad move, Mo State :/

Mr. Cagle was amazing. He said something about his section moving to an online section so i don't know if he's still there. He was the best professor I had at MSU. He gave you homework but it was honestly super helpful for tests and he taught really well. Great guy great class, MSU messed up by removing his section because he really was a great guy

Best trig teacher at MSU. A lot of my friends with other teachers had to drop. Im terrible at math and have a better grade than i got college alg. 30 points attendance. Extra credit. Notes. Final is the same problem from tests before which he gives back for you to study.

Best Trigonometry teacher ever! Really cares about you and is always available for help. Explains material great in lecture. If you put effort into the homework and study for the exams, this course is a breeze. By far the best instructor in the math department. If you have him as an option take him!

I took Mr. Cagle over the Summer, I was repeating MTH 135 after realizing math and I don't get along. His class was awesome! Even though it was a summer semester he did not rush anything and took time make sure everyone understood. He let us use notes and books on tests. I got a D the first time I took this class but with him I got an A.

Trigonometry class. He is excellent at explaining everything that you need to know for the test and is really specific and clear. All the homework is sheets that he makes up and is similar to the test. If you go to class and do the homework, you'll do well. I have a 105% going into the final and I usually get B's in math classes.

Class was Trigonometry. Pretty solid professor. Go to class, take good notes, do your homework and you shouldn't have any trouble getting an A. If you want a deep understanding of the material however then you will need to supplement with youtube and other resources. Tells you exactly what you need to know for tests. Gives attendance points.

This class was trigonometry. Mike Cagle is literally the best math teacher I've ever had, especially in my college career and I've had several. I'm not one that likes math classes, but Mike made his class fun and easy to pay attention in and he knows how to teach the material very well and he doesn't throw any curve balls like other professors do.

I really liked this class. homework was easy because as long as you showed work and turned it in on time you get 100. there is no need to buy the text book unless you struggle in math classes. exams were exactly like homework and he lets you know what type of questions will be on exam. class always gets out early!

I highly recommend taking his class! Summer class is a lot of work, but he understands that and tries to make it as easy as possible. He is funny and very willing to answer questions. Best math teacher I have had so far.

I tookCagle for a summer MTH 135 class. Like others, I questioned his grasp of the subject - soon learned he just likes to play the part. He DOES know his stuff and the class is easy. He hands out points like candy, but doesn't really prepare you for any future advanced math classes. This concerns me if will be prepared for other teachers?

He doesn't know how to use graphing calculators (eg- TI83, TI86) and that posed a problem for me. I sometimes questioned his knowledge beyond trig and basic math classes he teaches.

He basically hates teaching so he hurries through class. Most of class is spent asking questions about the previous nights homework. Tests are easy because he emails you a copy of the previous years test to study from. He is a goofy guy and usually lets class out early. Not a hard class, but you dont learn much for future math courses.
