Comment:

I was a bit let down by the teaching style of this professor. She presented math in powerpoint slides so it was very difficult to grasp the concept. We did not work through many examples in class, so I had trouble with doing the problems at home. Her tests are take home, but the problems are much harder than what she goes over in class.

Comment:

All of her exams were online - including the final (which was not cumulative). The textbook for "reading" was also online, but her lecture notes were all written in the notes of her downloadable powerpoints. The only reason attendance is mandatory is because she uses Tophat and takes attendance electronically. She's a nice lady overall.

Comment:

Dr.Reiser-Danner is great she has her own workbooks which makes it easy to learn the concepts but you still need the textbook so you can look up Z-scores and stuff. She is very helpful and will explain a concept to you 10 times if thats what it takes. Nothing against Verrekia, or Gans but take STAT with Dr. R-D you wont regret it

Her workbooks were very clear but she taught very very fast. In the beginning, she emphasized that she welcomed questions but then seemed irritated when students asked questions. It was too embarrassing to say if you fell behind but you can keep up with the workbooks! Overall a very nice woman, but taught too quickly!

She was an excellent professor even though the material was really hard. Its a lot of work but she makes it understandable and makes herself very much available to the students. I managed to get a C+ and that was with not missing any classes.

She is an awesome teacher, and very clear with the material she teaches. She is more than willing to help students outside class so they will understand the material. Definitely a great professor!
