I'm rating him based on his current teaching at Baruch (ACC9110). He is a nice person but the worst Accounting lecturer I've ever had. Almost every question I asked in class was answered by him with a "Your question is not in the syllabus".

Completely understands that students have a LIFE involving work, family and other student obligations. He grades exceptionally fair and he gives you the opportunity to use your book and homework assignments for the tests which are helpful. He is professional and if you talk to him reasonably he will listen to you BUT he is a horrible teacher. He does not explain anything and it seems like he has no idea what he's doing half the time. The tests are ridiculous but he ends up curving them because most of the students fail anyway. dont take him if you have any say in it.

Nice professor, but has no clue on how to teach or grade and gives horrible tests (thank God they were take-homes). He should really stick to his day job. Oh and very soft spoken so you will need to sit up close otherwise you'll barely here what he has to say.

I was an Accounting major until I took his class. He made everything very confusing. His classes were very boring and drawn out. He trys to be funny but he has an accountant's sense of humor (dull). The course had a great book with an internet site to mirror the book.He should have had class in a computer lab.

Prof Terrero is a good guy. If you have an open mind and if you are willing to work hard, then this is the class for you. Anyone who says "he is a horrible teacher" or "he should stick to accounting" without the capability to defend himself should keep their mouths shut.
