Lu is so incredibly passionate about social work and it clearly comes across in lectures. She makes a two hour class at 8am fly by. She is also very good and getting the class involved in lectures and is always seeking answers from us. She also gives you a study guide for the midterm and final. I highly recommend this class with her!

The ONLY instructor in the SW program that practices what she preaches. She's actually nice, cares about students and public issues. Fair and very helpful. Love her! Wonderful, full of life, and magnanimous. If you want to learn something substantial about social work - take her class- you?ll also learn a thing or two about integrity and simply caring about people.
