His accent made him difficult to understand. His changes to the syllabus were difficult to follow. He missed 3 out of the 8 weeks and instead treated it as an "online Course" when I specifically didn't want an online course. We didn't review any of the course content and instead focused on a project which wasn't relevant to changing economies.

I don't think there is enough room in this little box to detail all of the shortcomings of Prof Powanga. He criticized grammar on our discussion board...with worse grammar. He didn't state clearly any objective on assignments and didn't bother to notice that the syllabus he sent out was horribly outdated. Avoid this professor like the plague.

I really enjoyed Dr. Powanga's Economics course. He is brilliant and experienced in his field. I am taking his International Finance course next semester. Can't wait!

Comment:

Powanga was a fair and honest. His background with global economics made him a good match for the course load. You have got to be on time with your reports though so don't slack. Take the time to do the work on your side and you shouldn't have a problem.
