The best teacher I have had at MU so far! It's a pretty easy A because almost everything is completion. Attendance is not mandantory at all except when she has things planned, which is on the syllabus. There is no reason to buy the book.

Such a nice lady. Absolutely cares about her students. Very easy A, but it can be fun to go to class and hear her and the T.A.s talk about their work abroad. Don't bother with the book.

Very helpful and clear in class. She is very enthusiastic. Cares about her students' learning. I went to class all the time & studied 30 min before the exams and did very well. Don't buy the book though. Easy A. Sometimes boring, but she tries to make it interesting. She's super nice.

Very nice person and professer. She is really helpful she will help you out when you ever need help or have any questions about anything. She is a very sweet lady and she well tell you about her family and her life, and she gets really emotional, espically the last day of class. Test are very easy only that the mutiple choice are worth 8 points eac

Very easy class. Go to class, take notes, study 30 minutes for the exam and it's an easy A. Don't worry about reading the book unless you're having trouble understanding vocab. Very helpful professor as well, she will change the entire course of the class in order to help a single student. Material was dull, but the class is an easy A.

Very sweet lady. Kind of nuts at times. Fairly easy class. Exams were multiple choice, each question worth 8 points, which sucked. In class assignments were extremely easy. All around fine class.

She is such a sweet lady! She always makes really adorable jokes and laughs at them herself and you can't help but laugh along with her. She is very helpful and clear about what she expects you to know. If you go to class and do the reading (which isn't that much) you should do just fine! An excellent, excellent professor. The class is easy if you go to every class & listen. I never even read the book once and got nearly 100%. She's funny & personable, but more importantly the information you learn is actually applicable to every day life! I find myself applying rural soc to my life & its almost scary... But awesome! Take her class!

A great professor! If you are taking rural sociology, GET HER! She's extremely friendly, always happy and smiling. She makes silly jokes all the time that usually only she laughs at, but she's adorable. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Get to know her! You'll love her, I promise!

I really enjoyed her teaching and her class. Mary Grigsby just really tries hard to get to know students, and even in a large class like rural soc 1000 she knew my name even though I did not attend office hours. I was very impressed with her! Also, very interesting guest speakers. I liked her movies and topics.
