Great professor, gives you ALL the things you need to know to ace the tests. All you have to do is crack open your book for an hour, make sure you know the answers to the learning objectives, and you're solid. Dr. Bartels also managed to keep lectures interesting and was always ready to answer questions. Great professor and easy yet enjoyable class

She tells you to make sure you do your learning objectives and she means it. She won't check to make sure you did them, but come test time, they are very helpful. Also, there are always examples in the book that make the essay questions easier. She's a very kind woman who is helpful, fair, and not completely boring.

Awful. Went to almost every class, payed attention, and took notes. 5 page research papers are only 20 points and she does not follow the rubric she gives you. There are tons of outside classes you HAVE to go to; 3 campus involvement activities, and 5 studies that you must attend that has nothing to do with the class. Worst teacher ive ever had.

Dr. Bartels is very nice, but she isn't very clear about what she wants out of you. Her tests are a lot different from what you talk about in class and in the notes. I had to study my butt off to barely make an A. She is very nice and knows what she is talking about though.

Dr. Bartels is incredibly nice and helpful. Her tests are a bit frustrating and short, creating an unpredictable outcome, and she grades her papers extremely strictly. Make sure you're familiar with APA format. Other than that, she's a great teacher.

She is super nice, but also a hard grader. There are a lot of things on the test that we never really talk about. Be sure to read the book and really study for the tests. Make every point count because you really don't get a whole lot.

Nice teacher. Her teaching style is good. Course consisted of 3 Exams, Group work, a paper and a final exam. She grades papers very hard though. It is very hard to get an A on her papers. Her exams consist of 40MC and 1 essay..not too difficult. I will say that I/O psych was pretty boring. (not teacher, the class itself)

Professor Bartles is a very nice woman, and while her class is a little bland, she is very helpful and informative. Most of the class was done with PowerPoint.

I thought she was a great teacher. I did badly on the first test and she gave me study sheets to help, and it did. I wound up with a B in her class. I even signed up for another class with her! She is very sweet and will do anything to help you if you just ask.
