Comment:

Lynn's a fantastic professor but she doesn't tolerate nonsense. She definitely has favorite students as well but as long as you are serious about being there & learning, it's not a problem. Do your best, take the program seriously & you should be fine. Despite not personally being in PR now for other reasons, I learned a lot from her & her program.

Comment:

Lynn really cares about her students being successful so she doesn't allow them to take an "easy way out". While she is a tough marker and can be critical, it really did prepare me for when I went out into the workforce. Her toughness taught me to have high expectations and work harder, leading me to my full-time job right out of school.

Lynn is a tough grader because she takes her program very serious. For those who gripe about favourites, get over it and just work harder. I wasn't and I did. Only a few of you will actually succeed in the PR field. Out of my class less than 7 are still active in PR and those who are run their own departments or are well on our way. Thank you Lynn

Lynn is disrespectful, rude and has absolutely no filter when it comes to pointing out your weaknesses. She has no issues disrespecting students on both a personal and professional level and embarrassing them in front of entire classes. She is on a serious power trip, and her teaching methods and materials are some of the most outdated I have seen.

Going into the program I was incredibly afraid of her. She is blunt and does not care how the feedback is taken. But, she is also very caring and is understanding to an extent. She taught me a lot in this program and I am beyond grateful to have had the opportunity of being educated by her.

Lynn is unpredictable, disrespectful and a bully. She openly mocks students in class, refuses to be flexible in any way, shape or form, and for a "communications professional" is an ironically terrible communicator. Her methods to motivate students are as outdated as the examples she uses in class or her distant memories of "the real world".

As an international student, i sometimes had difficulty understanding some of the things. But my experience with Lynn was really good. She had been very kind to me and it is something I will always be grateful to her for. She really helped me in so many ways that its hard for me to not like her. Just do your best and work hard.

Lynn is a great teacher who puts time into those students who show an active interest in PR. She can be seen as tough or cold, but I can attest that it is to prepare students for real world job situations. I was never the best student but her help and my own hard work has benefited my PR career as I now run my own PR dept. Thanks Lynn!

Lynn is an amazing teacher! As prior comments have stated, she is tough on students for a reason. It is part of the industry and she wants her students to succeed not only in class, but out in the real world. She has loads of experience and examples. Take advantage of all her advice.I already know I will miss her once I graduate.

lynn is all over place and unclear w assignments. plays favourites + even though claims to be strict about deadlines will make allowances for her faves (will also bump up their grades + give extra marks when they whine). if ur a brunette consider going blonde lol as she's team blonde thru + thru. shes degrading + rude - this is from an a+ student.

My first impression wasn't so good, as the time progressed i think she can have a mean side to her but it's a quality not a fault, she shows how it really is and if you show effort then she'll recognize that- if you slack though... Watch Out.... oh ya a be quiet if your late!!!!
