I LOVE LYNN MORGAN! I took Medical Anthro and could not recommend it more. She really expects a lot and you MUST be a good writer to do well in her class however her writing assignments are honestly really fun. The books and readings you will do change your life, many new "favorites" came out of that class for me. Highly recommend if you're PreMed.

Lynn is incredibly knowledgeable and deserves all of the respect she is given by students, colleagues, and complete strangers. Her class was one of the most difficult courses I've taken, but I learned SO much from this course. Lynn has high expectations or her students, but she also genuinely cares for them as people.

Lynn Morgan is a brilliant person, classes are incredibly enriching, one of MHC's best. Medical Anthro is one of the best courses I've taken at MHC, and I would take it again. Even though it's a 200, we treat it like a seminar. You will learn to think very critically about anthro, and will be held to a high standard of performance.

Lynn is hard--take her if you really want to dive into Anth. She is not the most approachable prof, but if you do, she is super helpful and willing to engage in great discussions with you. She would also be an excellent adviser for those who want serious research experience.

She will make you work, but if you're willing to put in the effort, then the rewards are numerous. If you're interested in Anthro, Latin America, or anything reproductive justice/health related, then I highly recommend that you establish a relationship with her. If this isn't your thing, then I imagine you would find her class hard an unrewarding

When Lynn Morgan was going for tenure she actually reminded us of this as she handed out the class evaluations at the end of the year, implying we should rate her favorably. I can not understand her popularity--she is fake, pushy and totally about her own self interests. SO unusual for an MHC professor.

good professor, talks about really interesting ideas and topics but a little harsh on the grading scale, doesn't provide the best criticisms, . mildly approachable although could work on it a little more. i would recommend this class if you are looking for interesting topics but not if you want a mushy gushy prof

Lynn Morgan is an amazing professor! I loved her class and think that she is brilliant. Expect to do a lot of work and she expects you to speak up in class. Can be intimidating but a very nice person. One of my favorite MHC profs.

Lynn has a lot to offer. Intro class is frustrating because more time is spent on the basics of anthro than on what she has to offer on interesting topics. Papers and tests were reasonable, but I found that it's best to include her thoughts/take on the material into them and not to deviate too much using original thought.

Lynn is incredible! I absolutely love taking classes with her. My advice is be prepared to do tons of reading and writing. Lynn is nothing if not brilliant and challenging. Getting on her "good side" means doing the work, so be prepared to dig in, especially in her seminars. If you show that you're trying to work, she'll notice, trust me.

She does not provide constructive criticism. She insults your writing, and kills any interest you may have had for the subject! She is a boring teacher, and invited boring people to come in as guest speakers. She thinks everything she says is absolutely wonderful, and thinks a smile will fix any boring statement. I would not suggest her class!

I looked forward to going to this class every day! Not something I would have ordinarily considered taking, but was glad I did. slight complaint I had was that she can sometimes be TOO popular, and I had difficulty talking to her after class because too many other people also wanted to speak to her!
