took precal,cal I, & cal II with him. best prof I have had in the 3 universities i have been to since. Do the work and you'll do fine. If he sees that your trying, he'll help you in anyway he can. I hated math before his classes and now love the stuff. You can easily pass but if you want more than just a pass, practice regularly and do all the work

Don't talk in his class or you will be kicked out. But he is very understanding of students and their needs when they are willing to put in the effort. He is very good at explaining concepts and his examples are very clear. You must go to class or you will fall behind.

Be sure you are never chatting in his class, its strong to say but he will hate you. Answer a lot of question, he makes calculus easy to understand. Gives assignment through out the course, be sure to stop by the math center often, overall an easy,helpful teacher!

Although Calculus may not be the most intersting class to take, Abaoui makes the concepts easy to understand and simple to follow. Be sure to stay quiet in class otherwise he will call you on it.

Overall: C. Has a chip on his shoulder, hates being asked questions. If you're an expert at math, you'll enjoy his style since he is efficient and assumes your knowledge is sound. Doesn't tend to provide the clearest examples. Class average was 56 (in 1998)...never used it since.
