It's like taking a class with God. Every word he utters exudes wisdom and shows that he is greater than AP. He is always there to help, so be sure to ask it. What a great class! Mack is a great guy, and I thought I didn't like journalism until his class. He gives helpful feedback, he's totally responsive, and his assignments are all meaningful. Definitely recommended for JOUR 61A...especially over other profs. like Dona Nichols who I had last sem.

Mack the is the best! I love Mack!! Cares for you as a budding young journalist. He comes from the old school newspaper era so he knows a lot! Get to know him and about what he's experienced. You have the prime opportunity to do so, so take it. Very approachable about class work, you're progress, internship opps, etc.

We need more teachers like Mack! True, he is not the youngest, but the fact that he is still teaching just goes to show how much he cares about his students. His door is always open if you have any questions, need clarity on assignments or just need to chat. He wants his students to succeed, though he doesn't hand out freebies. Just do the work.
