He was a decent lecturer, and gave breaks during 80 min lectures. His lecture slides on derivation of equations were a bit confusing at times, so it is a good idea to attend lectures. Exams and assignments were pretty straightforward.

This is one of the worst profs ever. His marking style is a joke. This man should be fired so fast for academic negligence. A real crook. Thermodynamics is a wonderful course that should be taught by someone with the ablility to teach it, not by someone who simply does pathetic research that barely utilizes true thermodynamic theory.

I don't know who the other raters are talking about. Madjid is a nice guy and had a good rapport with our class. He isn't a very good lecturer as there was some ambiguity in his slides and his voice doesn't have any oomph, but still understandable. Not a great prof, but not a bad one either.
