Pretty chill 300 lvl class. Only one paper and three tests (Optional Final). 12 Online quizzes per chapter which are like 10 questions each. 3 online discussions, If you follow the slides which are provided weekly as well as filling out exam reviews provided a couple days before the test you should be good. TAKE HER AND DON'T HESITATE!

Overall, a great professor. The lectures are followed by weekly online quizzes. There are 4 main tests (she'll drop the lowest one), and a short paper. I found the material very interesting, and her lectures adequate. General rule of thumb: go to her class, take the quizzes, take use of the study guides, and you'll do fine

Dr. Hojjat was amazing. She clearly loved her job. Her quizzes and tests were easy if you listened to her talk. I would absolutely take her again. I wish she was teaching research methods next semester.

The class was really interesting and the material itself was pretty easy to understand. BUT, the exams were extremely hard. Every question had multiple answers that made sense which made it nearly impossible to get higher than a C. There isn't homework, just a few discussions and 10 easy online quizzes. She can be tough to understand sometimes too

I LOVE Professor Hojjat! This class was my favorite PSY out of the six classes I've taken so far. You need to attend class in order to pass, and actively take notes because they are not posted online. Weekly quizzes are easy to get 100 on. The only thing you use the textbook for is the online quizzes, there's a second textbook I never touched.

Awesome professor. 12 online quizzes throughout semester, can retake them each once. 4 exams, drops lowest grade. Final paper not too hard. Lectures can be pretty interesting, just take notes and pay attention. Will not provide notes if you miss class, so you must go. Gives good review sheets for exam. Pretty easy A

I had an amazing experience in her PSY 204. I learned so much and she is so understanding with test accommodations. I would highly recommend taking any of her courses. She loves psychology and knows a lot about the topic of social psychology. Her tests are pretty easy if you study and there are a lot of quizzes. Work hard and you'll do well!

Paper, online DB, 4 exams (she drops lowest), EC opportunities, online quizzes, no class on Fridays, overall pretty easy you just need to put the time in to do the studying. You get a lot of chances to improve your grade however she isn't very clear when you need help and is very opinionated- overall nice and passionate about psychology

I agree stay far away, I have her as an advisor and had a 3.4 average and she told me that wasnt "good enough" to make it into grad school.. She is very condescending and will tell u you ABSOLUTELY need both text books and u only need lesko

Worst professor I have had in my 4 years at UMD. I don't usually write reviews but for this professor I felt it was nessasary. Extremely rude and unreasonable. You would think for a Docterate in Psychology she would be nicer, or understanding. She is highly condescending. I Left the class in a bad mood every time. Stay far away.

Hojjat is a nice woman who is passionate about social psychology. I didn't use the main book much but the lesko book is crucial. She barely has extra credit and its added to the exams though she doesn't tell you that. Overall a decent class if you are willing to try. Attendance is mandatory..

Basically just take notes every class. There is occasional extra credit opportunities, but only counts for like 1 point. Don't buy the book, never use it. Exams are multiple choice and based on lecture material. Professor is not approachable. If needed,seems to be too busy for questioning or meetings. Attendance is not mandatory. Overall easy class

Easy, easy class and tests, just go to class bc her tests are straight from lectures, even though she gives a review the class before the test with a practice test. She also gives a study sheet, never had to use the book, no attendance, random extra credit assignments, knowledgeable and experienced, short paper due at end of semester

Good teacher. Interesing class. If you want to buy the book don't buy the newest edition its practically the same thing. Anyway, you won't need to use the book if you go to class everyday and take notes.
