He seems like a nice guy and he is as long as you keep the conversation to small talk. As soon as you disagree with him on something he turns vicious. He's a very funny guy but is actually incapable of explaining even the simplest concept. I will never take a class with this man ever again!

I have to say, prior to taking a course with Dr. Stebbins, I had a false pretense due to the myraid of negative accounts, directed toward him. However, after having had the pleasure of taking one of his courses, I have to say he is one of the most knowledgeable and educated progfessors I have ever had.

Stebbins is a good professor. He actually teaches you, and his classes are interesting. Everyone that rates him bad probably failed his class because you didn't work hard or didn't show up. Most of you are just used to easy tests that you can pass by cramming but Stebbins likes his tough reputation. Stop blaming your poor performance on the him.

WHERE DO I BEGIN? This man gets off on failure. He is not happy unless someone is failing, and BELIEVE me..someone will fail. Teachers are supposed to teach everyone who is willing to learn, not just the 1 or 2 students who actually understand what the hell is actually going on. This is a hard class that this ass does not make any easier.

VERY difficult course!! Don't plan on spending less than at least 5 hours a day for at least a week before a final....and still only get 50s. Stebbins may seem scary, but always there for extra help in his office, take advantage of that. Teaching in the classroom is hard to understand. Must teach yourself the course.
