This Revelation class was different from his normal classes- only graded on 3 papers and 2 exams. Participation is a must, and his readings are quite complex. Go to his office hours for any clarification. Lots of in depth material. Take him if you are looking for a challenge, not an easy A

Very unfair professor. Expects you to come into an intro to theology course, which is a mandatory class at my school and an intro, with an extensive knowledge of theology and for you to form exact and correct thoughts on very difficult readings that he will then go on to explain in a long and difficult to follow way. Readings are long and hard

Professor Guerra is a really nice guy and he tries to make his lectures relatable when he can. His class is fully lecture and he expects you to participate. You MUST bring your book to class or you won't be able to follow along. Take detailed notes and mark down passages he discusses in class, they come in handy for the papers.

You either love him or you hate him. He's not a bad guy, but his classes are not lecture- all in discussion/seminar form so you're on your own when it comes to taking notes and studying for exams and writing papers. I personally wouldn't mind taking him again because I am a theology minor but it is a lot of work for an intro class, but not horrible

Guerra is high key one of my favorite people to see around campus! He makes the class so interesting, my class mates enjoy taking Intro to Theology with him much more than other people enjoy taking the same class with other professors. He is so funny in the way he talks and I wonder why he isn't at a better college. Peace, Love, Guerra!

His classes are all discussion based. He works very hard to engage all of the students. For a theology class he makes it very interesting and acknowledges the other side of every argument. He care a lot about his students and is willing to go the extra mile if you are.

Class is set up as a seminar so he expects the students to do all of the talking. He talked about things that made no sense and he was intimidating. You write about 6 papers but he grades them very hard and gives little feedback and the papers are worth so much. You really have to work for an A in this class and participation is so important.

Extremely intimidating. He is very knowledgeable but for an Intro to Theology class it was too much to handle. Assigns readings every night and expects you to fully understand what is going on. If you don't participate, your grade suffers. lots of papers and tests are TERRIBLE! Our final exam was an oral exam about theology... yeah.

Professor Guerra is an isanely smart guy. His class can become difficult to understand at times due to the topic he is teaching. However, he is always willing to help you understand the topic better if you go to his office hours. I have done that many times. He's a really good guy but get ready to thrive for a higher standard. Guerra wants the best

I have never taken a theology class before and took it as a required gen ed. I expected it to be tough but it was brutal. Exams were insane and he is very tough to get through to. His vocab is difficult to understand. He is very interested in the topic so that is helpful.

Guerra is very difficult. I have never taken a theology class before but expected to do decently. Nah, he's difficult. He goes off on rants about nothing. He's scary and intimidating. I am totally not a fan about him. I highly DO NOT recommend him. God Bless to whoever takes him!!

Probably the smartest guy I have ever met and spoken with!!! Brilliant professor & extremely intelligent. I wish I could be as smart as him.. He definitely knows his stuff & knows everything about anything.. Pay attention, participate, & take good notes & you'll be all set. He comes off arrogant at first but he's actually a very good guy! Funny to!

You have to be in class and do the reading in order to do well. The papers aren't bad, but he's a tougher grader. He will help you with your ideas and drafts in office hours, though. He's more lenient on the in-class essay exams. He doesn't write on the board, just lectures, which was difficult for me personally.

Best prof I had here. He really made you think. Forces students to argue for their views. While I didn't agree with him on everything (I wrote a paper on pro-chioce--and got a A-) he made me think about my views on things. What else can you ask for?

Awful professor, very narrow-minded- he thinks he's a lot smarter than he is. Assumption is better off without profs. like him who hate anyone who is different.

While he was here, he was one of the smartest professors on campus. He also managed to be one of the best. Guerra is a brillant logitician. If you just pay attention, its easy to follow his arguments. Assumption lost a great professor when he left.
