Professor Regnier is very passionate about the music he teaches. His test come from his powerpoints. If you get the notes and study them, you'll get an A on the test. He wants his students to be able to recognize the music we listen to. He really wants his students to do well.

Professor Regnier is a GREAT professor. His notes are always clear and everything in red shows up on test so be aware of that. His test are super easy and the final paper is as well. Consider his class.

The lectures are so boring but the class is seriously so easy. Just study notes and you'll ace the tests. Word of advice though: don't buy the book!!!! It says it's mandatory, but I spent $300 on that thing and haven't cracked it open once. Everything you need to know is in the notes, and he emails you the songs you need to know for the tests!

This class was extremely easy. Attendance is mandatory but he highlights anything on the powerpoint that you need to know for the test. You literally just memorize what he gives you and you'll get an A. He gives one paper at the end of the semester but it's graded really easily.

He is a very nice guy and the class was pretty interesting! If you have a background in anything with music it's any easy class. I studied for an hour before the tests (aka read over my notes) and got an A on every one. There is a listening section on each test and where he plays a piece and you identify the composer. Overall, I enjoyed the class!

By far the most boring class I've ever been in, I had to force myself to go. He takes attendance and will dock your grade by 10 points after the 3rd absence. The tests are very hard and mostly application based, but if you study and take good notes, you should make a B. Make sure you buy the textbook for the listening portion of the tests.

easy class. the only grades you have are four test grades an a 3 page concert critique. as long as you study for the tests, it is impossible yo fail. his class is boring but whatever. he let us out at least 20 minutes early every class.

He's alright. His class is kind of boring, but what two hour lecture isn't? He comes in 2 minutes late with his coffee and goes right into the notes. Do not take this class early because he tends to blast classical music. Overall he's fairly easy. Real bangin at guitar...

Regnier is very nice. His classes are all lecture. Sometimes he takes attendance sometimes he doesnt. VERY HARD class if you do not study. 4 Multiple Choice tests and a cumulative final. If you study and make an A on 3 of the 4 tests you can exempt final. Had i known that i would've studied.

worst teacher ever! boring class and notes were scattered and confusing. he said he would give us extra credit and when i went back to him he kept saying wait it out, wait it out, and within a few weeks the semester would be over! DO NOT TAKE!

Very boring class, and you can tell that the prof. hates teaching it. The tests are a combination of the notes and the book, but mostly rely on the notes, so make sure that you attend class. They're not too hard, but the require studying and good notes. He only requires 2 concerts, which is less than some profs. There are better profs out there

His class appreared to be easy at first because you just sit there and listen to him talk, but then he gives you his tests and nothing he said is on it. He was a slack prof. and you need to be sure to read your book and make up your own notes because he won't give you any.

Pretty boring class. Sit all period listen to music and lecture. No discussion. Attendance policy, but can easily have someone sign you in. Tests not that hard. Final is all questions from previous exams. Can easily get away without doing reading outside of class if you take notes.

He's such a cute guy! At first I thought his class was hard but I ended up with an A. Attendence is 10% of your grade. Make sure to listen on review days and you will do fine on the tests. If you take all the tests,including the final he drops your lowest test grade. I would definetly take him again
