Zimmer is amazing! I totally loved the topics he was teaching. He is not the best when it comes to clarity, he is super vague and tests can be kind of weird. Overall, he is a great professor and hey free trip to Puerto Rico.

Zimmer is fantastic, he's super clear on what you need to know. Didn't really use the book, could definitely do w/out it or splitting it with someone else (especially for the price of it). Second semester is definitely trickier than the first, but not terrible.

Zimmer is awesome! He is very helpful and extremely prompt with grading. He will sometimes post grades the same day as exams. He is very into what he does. He also gets alot of grants which is nice if u do research with him.

What can I say Zimmers is the man. Super interesting and a good chem teacher. he's not very clear on what he wants in his glow class and some questions in the test are kind of random. Besides that he's great and I got a free trip to Puerto Rico. Nicest guy ever.

Marc made me love chem so much I almost majored in it. He's really funny, brilliant, helpful, and not too tough as a grader. Wants people to get the material. I skipped lectures a lot and regretted it big time. He's still one of my favorite Conn professors. I would love to take more classes with him. He's just really cool.

He was really awesome and loves what he teaches! However,his expectations were vague and the syllabus was a bit hard to follow. but I learned the most during our trip in Vieques! he was extremely helpful and sooo kind!!! I'd take another class with him. TAKE GLOW with him if you can!!

marc is amazing. i hated chemistry and he made it so much more bearable for me. he is very funny and gives great examples - people who like broccoli with chocolate sauce. he is also very helpful outside of class. the accent is super cool, too!

He tries to make things look easier when they're really not. He's a funny guy, talks a little bit too much about his kids. He's bad at explaining concepts you do not understand. He's also very lazy, has like trillions of conferences to attend.Bad teacher.

despite his outwardly friendly appearance, marc does have a bit of a mean streak in him...he also showed no passion for the subject (env. chem) and generally gave the impression that he wanted to get the hell out of class early every time.
