He's a really nice guy, tries to be funny. His slides are entertaining but they're useless and his midterm qs are so random and vague. Everyone skips his class but the class average is also bad :/ He barely covers anything from the textbook so you're on your own for the final..(try to avoid if possible)

Dr Viens is a real nice guy and is a pretty interesting lecturer for 7-10. He does spend a majority of the time trying to make you laugh and it does get a little old but it's better than a dry lecture. Exams are fair but are based off textbook and lectures so it can be alot of material to go over. all MC.

This guy tries to be funny, but his jokes aren't funny and often offensive. When some students show up a little late to class, normal professors ignore them and continue with the lecture... But not this prof: he will humiliate you in front of the class and make fun of you by shining his lazer are you until you sit down. Sarcastic and offensive prof

Such an amazing professor! His lectures very engaging and funny which makes the 7-10 class fly by. Barely read the textbook and received a good mark. You have to show up to class because a lot of the things he talks about is not on his power points. Overall would recommend taking a course with him!

Very engaging, extremely funny, and he is someone you can relate to. 7-10 evening class but keeps you awake. He'll sometimes mention examples in lectures that aren't in the textbook and include them in the 2 midterms, which are MC and a bit of word pairing. Everyone clapped for him at the end because he's one of the best profs you can get.

Marcel is an amazing prof. He really puts in the effort to make his classes interesting. Most of the exams are based on the lectures, but for an A+, you need to read the text. I highly recommend this class. The material is interesting, his teaching is engaging, and all you need to do is attend class to do very well.

Bit of a goofball, but he means well! Needs to get someone to proofread his slides. Didn't expect a 4th year class to be so easy (no papers and exams were multiple choice). Good one to add if you already have a heavy courseload. Mostly interesting.

Sleep and Dreams. Tests from both slides and book. Blank sections in notes so you must come to class. Exams sometimes cover material outside of what it says it'll cover. Teaching style can be goofy. Final is cumulative and worth a lot. Much more work than other classes for an A. Reccommend buying sleep/dreams book and take an easier class.

He is a very great prof, cares about students. Knows a lot about sleep and dreams and communicates material clearly and makes it easy to understand even when it's complicated. Likes to have fun and jokes a lot, even at night when no one wants to be in a sleep and dreams class.

Le prof adore donner ce cours. Il est drole et tres clair. Les 2 premiers examen ne sont pas tout a fait comme l'examen finale, vu qu'il ajoute un peu de matiere a celle du livre, mais en lisant le livre, on reussi tres facilement.

Interesting lecture, knows how to keep you awake. His lecture notes is not helpful for the midterms or exam. His midterms can be very detailed (read your book page by page), and does not reflect what was taught in class. The final is made by the department and is more general.

He is a good teacher and really knows his stuff. He is funny and knows how to keep our attention for a late class. The exams are easy IF you study. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE BOOK! His exams contain both info from the book and the notes (that kinda sux). I would recomend him to anyone.
