As a person Paul seems great, but he is not fit to be a teacher. He strays from the curriculum, and often requires you to learn things that have nothing to do with music therapy. The text book was actually interesting but we were never tested on what was in the textbook (so reading it was pointless) only what he had on his poorly formatted slides.

I really liked Paul as a person, and he was very funny. But Music and the Mind was very dry. He also expects you to memorize the worksheets he hands out, as his tests are literally word for word from the handouts. Also, not the best for advice, but he is a very sweet person.

he was my 1st year adviser, not really helpful, gave a lot of confusing (or should i say wrong?) advices. but i really like him, he's kinda of will let you do anything you want! absolutely love him!

it would be awesome if paul turned this place into what it was 5 or 6 years ago. i know director is a hard job. but how hard is it to get rid of duplicate pianos and SOMEHOW find a common room space? it seriously doesn't sound that impossible. anyway, denton will benefit from his positive personality, there's no doubting that.

i'm so glad he got tenure. this is an interesting guy who i hope stays around here. he really genuinely cares about students and always speaks with a lot of thought behind his words. i hope he fills in for JH next year and goes hogwild. i really do.
