Absolutely HORRIBLE teacher, very unclear, and inconsistent with her grading and what she expected from you on homework and on tests. By the end of the semester, the only people who were still left were people who had already taken Stats. Not helpful at all. She was also a little crazy and would skip around the room among other weird things.

She is a horrible, horrible teacher. She is extremely scattered brained as said before. She is constantly making dumb jokes and moves too fast through concepts. I'm probably going to fail the class. I would not recommend taking her classes!!!

Very scatter brained and unprepared. Does not grade homework for correctness, just completion, so you never know if you're really doing it right. Not helpful when you need assistance, also very demeaning when you need help. Would NOT recommend.

Overall, this is one of the teachers you to have if you want to learn. True, she can seem a bit uptight about people talking in class, but after having to sit through several lectures without being able to hear her in the front row due to the background discussions, I can understand why she gets annoyed. She will go out of her way to her you too.

She is terrible!! All you do during class is play with blocks and she doesnt teach anything because she doesnt know it either! Not helpful! Hw has nothing to do with class discussion, tests have nothing to do with hw or in class work! Don't ask her questions, she made a girl cry and leave on the first day! DO NOT TAKE HER!

Good person, but is horrible at teaching and explaining. is all over the place, I feel like the material on tests was way more complex then homework. i loved math until i took this class. i went from an A student to a struggling C. I attended every class and even got a tutor. Do your best to avoid her as a teacher, i wish i had :(

She was hilarious! She's also a really good teacher at times she can be confusing and get things switched around but who doesn't. It could be an easy A, attend class do the homework and you'll do well on the tests. Every week there was a 10 point quiz. Theres no reason why anyone should get below a C in this class.

Marcella is great for stats. This is Spring 2011 and she is on her game. I think only lame, pissed off 19-year olds who screwed around in high school and don't do their homework could earn a bad grade in Marcella's class. I say this after almost not taking math from her based solely on other people's reviews. Don't believe the crap people post.

Marcella is a good teacher she's fun and explains everything in depth and the simplest ways possible...i dont agree with people who say she makes you feel stupid or has little patience she has lots of patience especially with "dumb" questions. i recommend

she is a terrible teacher, doesn't make her own assignments or review, borrows everything from other teachers without really looking it over. she is confusing in her lectures and her tests are always tricky rather than straight forward. i have always gotten A's in math and loved it UNTIL this class. terrible teacher.

I really enjoyed being in Marcellas class. Not too many people were fond of her, but thats because those were the people that she told to be quiet like a million times. I would recommend her to any student that is serious about learning and not socializing with their friends during lecture.

I really should have read these comments prior to signing on for her calculus class. It's true, this lady is probably one of the worst math teachers on the Cabrillo campus. She's rude, egotistical, has little patience for slow learners, and her hyperbolic personality can be quite irritating.
