Great professor.Offers extra credit to help you out.Very fair with grading. Testing lab questions come from CPA questions. Written portion of test comes from HW problems. Do them all twice you will get an A!! :)

Best professor I've ever had. Encourages critical thinking in her class and cares about her students. Makes you work for your grade but is not unreasonable. Gives extra credit. Your grade is based on 3 exams (part in class/part testing center), HW, and an optional final. DO THE CPA PRACTICE PROBLEMS AND THE CONCEPTUAL PROBLEMS IN WILEY. I got a B.

The most important thing to do in this class is to read the book and at least attempt some of the assigned problems. Her lectures are a little helpful when she goes over book problems, but other than that, just go for the extra credit; you can skip most of the lectures to be honest. For the lab portion of the tests, do the practice CPA questions!

Go to class to get extra credit( it can bring your overall grade 10 point up) Print out ppt( some of extra credit is from it). Some stuff is hard. Some lab portion questions from CPA, make sure you memorize answers, will save you time. Not bad class( easier then tax, lol)

like 3131, this class requires a lot of work to be successful. She gets confused a lot in class it seems &sometimes gives people an attitude when they ask a question, but will always respond. Have to be willing to put in the work outside of class to get a good grade! gave an ample amount of extra credit.

Comment:

Overall, this class was a great learning experience. She makes you work for your grade but you learn so much about the subject and your study habits in this class that it makes you have a good work ethic. Very clean on what she wants on test and gives study guides and extra credit. Do the practice problems and it will help out a lot. Good Luck!

This is not an easy class and it does require a lot of work on your part. She does make things much easier than the book though. She is tough on you and expects you to put in the work. Gives extra credit and plenty of material to study from. Great professor! I have a lot of respect for her and her work.

She is amazingly fast at getting grades back to you. The next morning your in-class grades will be up online. She gives a fair amount of extra credit throughout the semester, and the final is optional if you want to stick with your grade before it. Overall, a very good professor! Do the CPA adapted problems for the lab portion.

Test are in two parts, one part in the testing lab and one in class. You will need to do all the CPA practice problems for the lab portion. For the in class portion you need to practice the examples done in class and most of the wiley problems ALOT. The first test is extremely difficult.

I was terrified going into her class because of all the horror stories. I did all the Wiley and most of the practices in the book and attended all her lectures and did every extra credit. Went into the final with needing a 55 to make an A in the class. Her exams are straight forward and aren't tricky. You do have a lab and written portion for exams

This isn't an easy class, and she doesn't help. Doesn't explain any better than the textbook. Attendance is a must for the in-class extra credit, which you will need. The CPA study questions will save you on the mult choice exams; know how to solve using "her methods" (shown in class) for the written exams. Recommend group study - it will help.

This class will take up most of your time, & is very challenging but doable. The professor is fair, giving plenty of extra credit. You MUST read, practice, do the homework, practice, & then practice again. Pay attention to the CPA, they will help with the 1st half of exam. The class is doable, but don't expect to not work & pass.

in a weeks time you spend hours doing h.w. studing the book and in class work in a weeks time is 50 hrs if you want an A, 40hrs for a B and a mandetory 30 hrs just to pass the class. i spend about 20 hrs per class but for her you cant do that

People really freaked me out about taking this class. She is an awesome teacher teaching not a hard class but one that takes a lot of practice. Just read and do the Wiley and CPA questions and you'll be fine in the class.

Honestly, hard class, but simple for every test do the CPA questions they are life saviors, and do every excercise for each chapter, first test is the hardest one, second test mad easy, third is medium. veit is way better than Graybeal. she gives a lot of extra credit like 10 points believe me I got an A in the class cuz of the extra credit. do hw!

The most horrible teacher i have ever taken.Stay away.The class is hard and she makes it that much harder.She does not teach and gets constatly confused and confuses the class even though shes looking through solutions.You will spend weeks studying and wont like the result.Stay away.

This class was hard. You have to work to get a good grade. There are plenty of lecture notes and ppt slides and the use of wiley plus help you prepare. If you want a good grade. Come prepare before class. Do all work in WILEY and understand concepts not just computations. She is a good teacher and explains the HW.
