Marcy is an amazing professor. She is critical and considers all angles of a concept. She asks the tough questions in a discussion making this class the most interesting. She commits to important readings and is active in teaching. She will explain until you understand and is very approachable. Great prof. Great person.

Beyond unprofessional and I would venture to say that many of the people giving positive ratings have either been snowballed or were part of her crew of lapdogs. Wants nothing more than to be a guru. Arrogant and rude. Jumps to hasty conclusions and has her own little blacklist for people who so much as disagree with her. Current students beware.

Marcy is extremely helpful on a personal basis, and is very dedicated to her students. She is genuinely concerned and seems to put helping students ahead of other work at hand. She knows how to push students, however, so don't expect an easy ride. Great prof to get to know! Privileged to have worked with her!
