Her teaching style is clear and concise. She gives online chapter quizzes (which you can take as many times as you want) and she uses the questions from these quizzes on the exams. She does in class review for each exam. There are 3 exams and 2 projects. One project is a paper, the other is attending a political forum and answering a few questions.

Marda was a true professional. She clearly takes her occupation very seriously and puts a very great deal of work in to designing her curriculum. She is also a very fair grader and appreciates it if you openly participate in class. I couldn't be happier that I get to have her again next semester!

Amazing teacher. Does everything she can to help the class excel. Encourages class discussion and respects all view points. One of the most positive and inspiring instructors on campus because she genuinely cares about the academic process.

The online notes are great, but the class itself I found extremely boring. Maybe that was the fault of the students for not engaging in conversation and debate. Either way I never used my textbook at all, copied the notes online and often missed class, showed up for exam and did fine.

Reads off overheads, really boring, talks really fast, and will wait for upwards of 15 minutes for everybody to finish copying down what she has on the overhead, wasting plenty of classtime. Exams are fairly easy and no papers.

Marda is a good teacher she can be a bit boring and asks some pretty silly questions but she is caring and always willing to listen and give help after class. Her class may not be as good as a night at yuk yuks but its a class room not a comedy festival. if you ever need help marda is always there

I cant remember the course code, but i had canadian govt with her and i really liked it. Sure the material is god awful but she made it decent because we were able to debate the state of canada and all that jazz. excellent teacher and NO PAPERS!
